Disruptive Forces Survey

The convergence of post-digital disruptive forces — enterprise mobility, social business, data analytics and cloud computing — are reshaping the marketplace and triggering a fundamental shift in the circumstances, desires and expectations of customers and employees in a post-digital world.

In this new environment, executives are looking for insight into areas of impact:

    - Financial — potential gain or loss of revenue streams as well as changes to cost structure
    - Product or service offerings — uncover customer preferences and tailor the customer experience
    - The way you work — collaboration, teaming relationships within the enterprise and with suppliers and customers

Deloitte’s Postdigital Enterprise Market Offering is pleased to offer a new survey that is designed to help executives understand the impact of these disruptive forces on their business.

Definition of Disruptive Forces

- Enterprise mobility - untethered access by employees, customers or suppliers to business applications independent of physical location
- Social business – connecting human networks to share information, support decision making, and take action independent of organizational structures or boundaries
- Data analytics – high volume data analysis and modeling, enabling enterprise to move from descriptive understanding, to predictive outcomes, to prescriptive actions
- Cloud computing –  higher-order, finished computing services delivered via subscription or metered-billing, including hardware resources and software applications
